Authorities have apprehended a suspect responsible for the shooting at Pasadena Memorial High School, in Pasadena, Texas.
An evening which was peaceful quickly turned into chaos when an elderly man opened fire during a drumline competition on Saturday, the 1st of February, 2025.
Per multiple reports, an elderly man around 6 p.m entered through a back door, he hid behind a pillar and waited for 2 minutes, then fired a shot that hit a young man in the shoulder.
Reports have it that the victim is a percussion consultant. He was rushed to the hospital and remained conscious.
Although the victim did not die, hut suffered an injury from the gunshot.
A quick-think A quick-thinking parent tackled the gunman, helping police take him into custody. Per reports, no student was harmed in the shooting, however, the competition was canceled.
Although authorities are still investigating the shocking attack, they however believe that the shooting was not a targeted one but an isolated incident.
