In a sad piece of news, we announce the death of Samuel Allen, a 16-year-old Santiago High School Community soccer player.
Per reports, the talented midfielder suddenly passed on Wednesday, the 29th of January, 2025.
This tragic passing has left the Santiago High School community in Corona in pain and heartbreak.
Reports have it that he died after he choked on his food at which time his parents were not home neither was anyone home with him.
However, he was on a call with his girlfriend, Zoe when the incident happened. She hurriedly got to his house, but unfortunately, it was too late. His death his the community affected his parents, teammates, coaches, and friends.
A candlelight vigil has been in his honor at Santiago High School, his teammates remember him as a talented and hardworking athlete.

Last night, I had the honor of attending a candlelight vigil for Samuel Allen #14, an 11th-grade student at Santiago High School who tragically passed away yesterday. Samuel was not only a star scholar and athlete but also a beloved friend to so many. The thousands of students, teachers, and community members who gathered in his memory were a testament to the incredible impact he had on those around him.
My heart and prayers goes out to the Allen family, his teammates, and the entire Santiago Sharks community. May his memory live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
