There has been so much buzz on the internet over Jason Buchanan, a teacher at Northside High School in Fort Worth, TX statement.
At the moment, he is facing a series of backlash over his controversial statement about his students on social media.
Jason posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) saying ICE should raid his school as many of his students are undocumented immigrants.

In his post, Buchanan said, “Y’all should come to Fort Worth, TX, to Northside High School. I have many students who don’t even speak English and they are in 10th-11th grade.” He added that he often uses translators to communicate with them.

He has since been fired.

This statement has incontrovertibly ignited outrage from other users on X. Many called him out saying he is not a qualified teacher as teachers are supposed to support, not alienate, their students.


At the time of writing this article, Fort Worth Independent School District has not given an official statement however, comments and outrage from X users continue to pile up.
