3 Decade Radio Host, David “Ace” Cannon Passes Away at 56

In sad news, we announce the tragic demise of the super-talented radio host David Cannon, famously known as Ace at age 56.

David Cannon, was a brilliant radio host who entertained audiences in Louisiana, Alabama, and Charlotte for over 3 decades.

He’s best recognized for his humor and, no doubt, his warmth on the mic. He was a co-host of the The Ace & TJ Show. This morning show was popularized in Louisiana, Alabama, and later Charlotte.

The news of his death was announced on The TJ & Riggins Show‘s Facebook page. The statement reads:

Our prayers are with our brother. We are devastated by the news. Please keep Cade, Shonnette, Dax, Amanda and Piper in your prayers.

We love you Ace.

His sister, Piper also confirmed his passing with a post on Facebook, describing his passing as a “great loss”.

At The time of writing this article, the cause of death has not been identified yet, however, his legacy of sharing joy and laughter can not be erased in a hurry.

Many have taken to social media to pay tribute to the legend of the game.
